Define the 10 kV distribution interface
Provide primary and secondary voltage, system frequency, phase, vector group, neutral arrangement, insulation level and fault conditions. The 10 kV designation alone does not establish the complete ratio or connection. Include the utility specification and single-line diagram where available.
Size the transformer from the real load
The current record lists power as custom and does not provide an approved kVA matrix. State peak demand, expected loading, motor starting, nonlinear loads, future growth and any overload duty. Capacity should be selected through project review and confirmed in the model-specific schedule.
Specify the sealed-tank arrangement
Fully sealed construction should be reviewed together with oil filling, tank design, pressure and temperature indication, bushings, tap arrangement, drain or sampling requirements and maintenance practice. Do not describe the transformer as maintenance-free or claim a service life without supporting documentation.
Confirm winding, losses and cooling
The database material field lists Copper/Aluminum, but it does not prove that both winding materials are selectable for the quoted model. Require the actual conductor or winding material and construction in the model documents. Also ask for no-load loss, load loss, impedance, temperature rise, noise and cooling method. Generic low-loss language is not a substitute for guaranteed values.
Match the outdoor environment
State ambient temperature, altitude, humidity, dust, rainfall, coastal or industrial corrosion, foundation constraints and cable approach. Outdoor suitability depends on the complete design, accessories, coating and installation, not only the sealed product name.
Agree tests and document deliverables
The database references IEC 60076, but it does not prove certification or compliance for every S20-M configuration. Define the required edition, tests, witness points, drawings, nameplate data and final report package. Use compliance language only after the selected model and evidence are checked.
Send a 10 kV transformer RFQ
Include capacity, ratio, frequency, vector group, impedance, taps, loss limits, winding preference, accessories, environment, test schedule, quantity and destination. The response should identify the proposed model and any remaining evidence or engineering questions.
