Industrial, Commercial, and Infrastructure Hubs

Providing robust power distribution architectures for manufacturing plants, mining operations, and modern urban infrastructure.

Confirm the 15 kV primary system

State the actual nominal voltage, highest voltage for equipment, insulation level, frequency, phase, earthing method and available fault current. A 15 kV label alone does not define the insulation coordination or protection arrangement.

Check the 0.4 kV secondary duty

Provide the secondary nominal voltage, vector group, neutral requirement and load type. For auxiliary, control, lighting or other small-load service, identify starting current, nonlinear load and voltage-drop limits rather than assuming 35 kVA is automatically suitable.

Verify the recorded material and SC13 construction

The record lists SC13 and the production material field lists Cast Resin. Ask for winding conductor, casting, insulation, terminal and enclosure information for the quoted model. Do not infer a structural difference from the SCB13 35 kVA page without a model matrix.

Coordinate protection and switching

Provide upstream fuse or relay philosophy, downstream protection and earthing requirements. Request impedance and inrush data if they are needed for protection settings or equipment coordination.

Review the installation environment

Confirm indoor location, ventilation, ambient temperature, altitude, dust, humidity, access and clearances. Obtain the final dimensions, weight, terminals and enclosure data before the equipment layout is released.

Define evidence before purchase

The IEC/IEEE database field is not proof of certification. State the required standard and request the model-specific datasheet, drawings, test plan and reports that cover the 35 kVA, 15 kV to 0.4 kV configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

The production record lists 0.4 kV. The final voltage rating must still be confirmed in the quoted model documents and nameplate schedule.

Suitability depends on the actual load, starting current, harmonics, duty and environment. Provide the application and load schedule instead of relying on a generic application claim.

Provide the upstream and downstream protection arrangement and fault level. Request model-specific impedance and inrush data when required for settings and coordination.

The current production record does not confirm an enclosure or IP rating. State the environment and required protection, then verify the offered enclosure in drawings and the technical schedule.

Request the model datasheet, nameplate schedule, GA and terminal drawing, loss and thermal values, routine-test plan and any standard-specific reports required by the project.
